Ok, I have a dilemma for you all to solve. Is the proper terminology:
1) butt-naked
OR
2) buck-naked

I think it's stark naked...:-) But between those too I'd have to say butt naked. Yep...but your dad's pretty smart so he might be right...who knows really? And it's no problem for the tounge fact. Hope your doing good. Lata!

the proper use of the expression i believe is buck naked...but due to people's slurred speech, combined with poor listening skills and the fact that the word BUTT is easily associated with nakedness(due to the fact they are almost exclusively seen when one is in a naked state), BUTT NAKED kinda came about...but it is incorrect... unless you are talking specifically about your butt which is naked at the time...then i guess it'd work..

It's "buck" naked. I know this because my mom corrects me everytime I say "butt" naked.

My first reaction was buck, but I think people use it both ways. You should look up the history on it. I'm sure it relates to deer hunting in some way!
