Wuv...Twue Wuv

That's a good movie. Haven't seen it in AGES, lemme tell you.

So, I got really tired of not knowing that guy's name at work. So I did what any logical, sane person would do. I made one up for him. Let me ask you...if you could pick ANY name in the world for someone, what would it be? You see, this was quite the puzzler for me. I mulled about it for a while. I finally came up with the perfect name for my ohsohot mystery man.

Polonius Rafael. Wow, doesn't that just ring of greatness? What, weird you say? I had SO MANY names to choose from! What could I do?

For reference's sake, check out Hamlet (the one by Shakespeare, not Veggi Tales). And the Rafael just flowed. Yup.

Ok, the VERY DAY I finally made up this name, I learned his real one. Matthew. Matt.

Mine was better ;)

Sum-uppance of life: Went to the fair. Saw elephants. And Krystal Tabor. And Weider-man. And John Mickhva;h;fa;h. Oh and I workedworkedworked. And told a guy no when he asked if he could call me. Aren't I sweet?

See ya later!

Mystery Man

Still don't know his name. But after the absolutely thrilling experience of being waved at by him the other day, guess what???

He spoke to me today!

He accused me of hitting his car. And the car of the lady he was talking to at the time.

Wow, I have such a way with men.

Just so you know, he was just kidding, but I was so swept off my feet by his wit that I proceeded to attempt a giant step over a compressor's tire and promptly go stuck, ending my not-so-graceful move with a jerky little hop. That one never fails to impress the male species. I try it all the time. Needless to say, I mumbled something incoherent and fled the scene, cheeks red with mortification.

I may never resurface at work. Lol, it was HI-larious, gosh darn it.

The Dark Horizon Looms

Sigh, college doth quickly approach. But no worries, this summer has been great, and it ain't over till it's over, folks! Everybody, enjoy it while it lasts, gosh darn it!

I think I'm in love. Haha, jk, but he has a really nice tan... See, I need to go on vacation. When the guys at work start to look good, you know things are going downhill. Especially considering the average age of the Sullair working population. And the fact that I don't even know the guy's name. Whoops.

Saw Mr. Lauson today! He must have made it back from Istanbul ok. Well, that place sounded as good as any, considering the man has encompassed the entire globe in his travels.

How's everyone doing?? My buddies are scattered to and fro and here and there and hither and yon, and I don't see hardly any of them!! Sniff. Poor little ole me. Miss you guys. If you read this post, leave a comment to let me know you are alive.

And no, I am not drinking, contrary to popular opinion. I simply cannot word things very well, that is all. Ah, time to work out again because I am a lazy old fart and everyone else on the team can run circles around me as well as outplay me in nearly every way. Now that I have the right outlook, "I'm off to the fair!" Heh heh, that Beauty and the Beast quote came out of nowhere. Thought "The Emperor's New Groove" was going to make an appearance for sure. Guess not.

Shoot, It Hasn't Even Been a Month!

Really guys, my last post was kinda recent considering the amount I frequent the Internet during the summer.

So...updates. Riiiight. My life is super boring now. I'm an adult after all.

Snigger. I didn't quite make it through that with a straight face either, no worries. Yeah, but it really is pretty darn dull. Unless you count being hit on by dudes ages 24 and up (MUCH closer to 35 in some cases) exciting. Haha, Sullair isn't that bad. I like it mostly. There are interesting people there. I wonder how I can make them see that going out and drinking is not the only way to have fun? Seriously, they always tease me about not drinking too much and not partying all night. Not all people have to be dead drunk to have a good time.

Welp, my family is going to see my other family this weekend to get the Luke Rumley's moved. Sniff, wish I could go. But I will see them....sometime. Maybe right before I go back to college, if I quit work early enough.

Just in case you are wondering, I in no way want to portray that I am complaining about the extremely lucrative and engineering-applicable job that fell into my lap this summer. I really am very happy for this opportunity. It's great. I just get rather tired from the long hours.

Hmm, working out is interesting. I really need to be doing a lot, but I am super tired when I get home from work. Mom and I have started going to Pumps Fitness in Valpo, and that at least gets me working out. It is fun and it's nice to hang out with Mom outside of the house and without the kids. Hopefully this will jumpstart my motivations and I will get moving. Today Betsey and I went out and played a little vball, so maybe it is working!

Summer vball practices are fun!! The girls are lots of fun and they work hard for me. They have learned so much! I'm proud of them.

Getting together with friends is one of the best parts of the summer, and this Sunday we will all be getting together at Cassie's house for a swimming/bbq party. Woot!

Well, gotta go shower so I don't smell completely awful for work tomorrow. Adios!
